Bamberg in Bayern hosted this year’s German
Blitzchampionship.In the men’s Group IM Ilja
Schneider scored 25 points after 31 rounds
and had two points more then silver medalist
GM Rene Stern. FM Marco Riehle snatched
bronze medal after scoring 22 points. WGM Marta
Michna won the women’s class scoring 19 points.
WIM Kerstin Kunze grabbed 2nd place with 16,5
points. WGM Judith Fuchs took 3rd place scoring
15,5 points. The participants enjoyed a nice Saturday
(1.December) in the university city and chess city
