The Russian open expert GM Vyacheslav Ikonnikov (left) has won
the Taca Litoral Open in San Martinho on the westcoast of Portugal.
The Sveshnikov expert cruised home with 8 points in 9 rounds, winning
his last two games aganinst lower rated opponents. That meant
Ikonnikov could go home with 1000 euros, a nice payment for a week
of chess.GM George-Gabriel Grigore from Romania took 2nd place
scoring 7,5 points and Indian IM Dinesh K.Sharma snatched 3rd place
