World Champion Magnus Carlsen( (left) is in the sole lead in Tata Steel after
beating GM Baadur Jobava in the 8th round of the Tata Steel-tournament
in Wijk aan Zee. Jobava played the Larsen opening (1.b3) but got no
edge from the opening. The game seemed to drift towards a draw, but
in the endgame Jobava made some erros and lost. Magnus took his Fifth
victory and leads alone with 6 points.Half a point behind follows Vachier-
Lagrave and Liren who won their games yesterday. Monday is a freeday.
Magnus plays white against Radjabov in the 9th round tomorrow.
