Grandmaster Normunds Miezis has just finished playing in Zürich. Now
he will participate in the Staufer Open in Schwäbisch Gmünd. This tournam-
ent starts tomorrow.The players will play 9 rounds starting tomorrow at
10.00 and the last round will be played on Monday the 6th of January
9.30.Grandmasters Burmakin, Nabaty, Buhmann, Epishin and Starostits
are some of Normunds`strongest opponents in his struggle to win in
