GM Michael Adams won the Dortmund-tournament
after drawing GM Vladimir Kramnik in the final. Adams
won the round-robin tournament with 7 points and an
eloperformance of 2925. Kramnik also played a strong
tournament, but his loss to Andreikin proved fatal and
with 6,5 points he was second.GM Peter Leko was third
with 4,5 points, the same as number 4 GM Arkadij Najditsch
