beat a Czech player with 1683 in elo. Many Norwegians also take part in
this tournament. FM Lars Hjelmaas won in the opening roound against
Kristyna Sabolova (CZE 1878). Asbjørn Tømte, Ove Jenssen and Øyvind
Ukkelberg lost their games.IM Vojtech Plat from the Czech republic is the
top seed with 2470. Up there is also the Swedish IM Jan Johansson (2394).
The second round starts Friday 4 p.m. (16.00).
