Grandmaster Eduardas Rozentalis won a long
last round game against leader GM Simen
Agdestein in the open norwegian championship in
Fagernes and claimed the title with 7 points.
Agdestein made a great tournament and followed
in second place with 6,5 points.The russian GM
Sergey Volkov was third, also with 6,5 points.IM
Timofey Galinsky, Ukrane – made his first GM-norm,
GM Maxim Turov, Russia and IM Frode Elsness from
Norway also finished on 6,5 points and took the places
4-6. On 7th place followed 13 year old Aryan Tari who
made his first GM-norm scoring 6 points. In the last
round Tari had to fight almost six hours before he
had secured the draw against GM Nikolai Ninov
from Bulgaria.Tor Botheim from 1911 won the B-.group
and Kazim Yilmaz won the C-group.
