Ralf Schnabel (left) from Nickelhütte Aue will participate in the German
Blitzchampionchips in Mannheim on Saturday.So far 33 of the qulified
players have signed up to play. The format is a all play all tournament
which means over 30 rounds.The 1st round starts around 1 p.m. (13.00).
The last round will finish around 8 p.m. (20.00). IM Andreas Heimann
(2568), GM Roland Schmaltz (2500), GM Rene Stern (2477) and IM
Ilja Schneider (2604) are among the favourites.
