FM Manfred Böhnisch (left) played an excellent tournament in the World
Senior Championships in Acqui Terme, Italy. Manfred played a draw in the
last round today against FM Boris Gutkin and ended up with 7,5 points
and a very strong 11nth place. His ratingperformance was 2358 which
means he earns 23 points. The French GM Vladimir Okhotnik won with
9,5 points. GMs Anatoly Vaisser followed in 2nd place with 8,5 points.
GM Victor Kupreichik was third with 8 points. Vidar Taksrud and FM
Thor Geir Harestad was best of the Norwegian players with 7 points and
