I was back on the winning track in the 8th round of the Arber Open here in Bayerisch Eisenstein. I got an advantage after opening against FM Stanislav Kuba and in the middle game he missed a beautiful combination which cost him a bishop. He therefore resigned. I now have 5,5 points, earning some rating points.Tomorrow I will play GM Evgeny Vorobiov. Another black game and against a 2590-player. Tough… Vorobiov won today and share the lead with Epishin and Rausis. They all have 6,5 points. WIM Olga Vrublevskaya beat GM Peter Haba today and has made a very good tournament. The last round starts 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Thank you, Jan Arne! I am satisfied with the result. Was hard in the last round. Got into a passive position and lost after three hours fight.
