GM Georg Meier (right) won in 2nd round of the Germans Masters
in Dresden today. He played the French defence, and his opponent
GM Niclas Huschenbeth, who also works for ChessBase, played
the Kings Indian Attack (2.d3) and used the variation with 3.Qe2.
Huschenbeth sacrificed to pieces, but his attack did not win, so
Meier at the end won. He now leads with 1,5 points.Huschenbeth
has 1 points. GM Falko Bindrich also just beat GM Andreas Heimann
