Sinquefield Cup: Magnus beats So


World Champion Magnus Carlsen (left) played a great
game against GM Wesley So in the 5th round of the
Sinquefield Cup. Magnus played the Sharp 6.Be3-line
against the Najdorf which his opponent played.
With some strong maneuvers in the midddlegame and
endgame Magnus got an edge and converted the
rookendgame. With this victory Magnus is in shared
lead with Aronian. Both players have 3,5 points.
Aronian played a draw as white against Grischuk in
this round.In round 6 Aronian has white against
Carlsen. In the 5th round GM Veselin Topalov lost
his first game, as white against GM Fabiano Caruana.
The games Nakamura-Giri and Anand-Vachier-Lagrave

Saturday at 8.p.m. (20.00). The games will be Aronian-
