My teammate from SG Leipzig when I played Oberliga and Bundesliga
some years ago, FM Roland Voigt (left) has made comeback after
some years break from chess. Roland who now lives in Hamburg
played in the 2.Bundesliga Nord Premiere this weekend. Roland
played a draw on Saturday against Fredrik Svane – the brother of
GM Rasmus Svane. Hamburger SK II and Roland lost their opening
match of the year 3,5-4,5 against the host Lübecker SV.Today
Roland beat IM Michael Kopylov but Hamburger SK II played 4-4
against Norderstedt who played in the 1.Bundesliga last season.
SF Berlin und St.Pauli lead with 4 teampoints. Hamburger SK and
Roland has 1 point and lies in 7th place. The 3rd round will be played
Saturday 15.12.Hamburger SK II meets St.Pauli at home soil.
