The 2nd game of the World Chess Championship
will be played today at 16 p.m. I will give an analysis
of the events.
Opening: Russian (Petroff). Caruana will try his main
defence against Carlsen`s expected 1.e4.
Development of the game: I expect another hard fought
battle where Magnus will play the 5.Nc3-variation and
try to create chances on the kings`side. Caruana will
try and neutralize the attack from the World Champion.
Yet again the Challenger will get into time trouble.
Moment of truth: Around move 35 Carlsen will crash through
with his attack and the game will soon after be decided
in his favour.
Result:1-0.
