Teplice Open:Igors in the top


Grandmaster Igors Rausis (left) has started the Teplice Open in
the Czech Republic with three victories.He beat the Danish FM
Jacob Sylvan in the 3rd round yesterday. In the 2nd round he
managed to overcome the home player IM Pavel Freisler. Today
the former trainer of GM Normunds Miezis will play black against
GM-collegue Jiri Stocek. The Russian GM Maxim Turov who
was teaching at NTG in Tromsø for three years, has also started
with 3 points. Maxim has black against a FM from Great Britain today.
German IM Hannes Langrock from Leipzig was in big trouble
last night, but managed to save a draw against Jonasz Baum (2085)
from Poland. In the 4th round today Hannes has white against
