The Greek chess summer continues with the Isthmia-tournament. The
reigning champion, GM Hristos Banikas (left), will be there to defend his
title, but he will face hard competition from strong grandmasters, among
them the topseed GM Aleksander Delchev from Bulgaria. The tournament
will be played over nine rounds and finishes next Monday.The 1st round
starts tonight at 5.30 p.m. (17.30).
