World Champion Magnus Carlsen played a draw against GM Vladimir
Kramnik in the 2nd round of Norway Chess 2014. Magnus played the
safe 3.-Bb4+ line and had few problems equalizing. He even got the
better perspectives in the ending, but Kramnik sacrificed a pawn and
secured the draw. In this round Caruana made a brilliant attack and beat
Svidler. Caruana leads with 2 points before today`s meeting with Carlsen.
Aronian climbed to 1,5 point and second place after beating Karjakin
in a queen indian game.Grischuk beat Topalov to have 50 percent.
The games Agdestein-Giri ended in a draw.The 3rd round will be played
today at 3.30 p.m. The games are Carlsen-Caruana, Grischuk-Aronian,
Karjakin-Agdestein, Giri-Kramnik and Svidler-Topalov.Follow the 3rd
