Arne-Roger Jensen played a quick draw against routinier Arnbjørn Dyrdal
in today`s quickest game in Leiv Vidar`s cantine.
Rune Myhrvold played a caro kann against me on the 1st board. This
game ended in a draw after in an hour`s play. I found it difficult to break
down his Larsen-variation (.5.-gxf6).
Bernt Nordby seemed in trouble for the kibitzer, but he seemed to have
everything calculated and made a draw against young star Kjell Håkon
Lien.
Roy Kvamme (left) got the best of Øyvind Bentsen and sent Hønefoss in
the lead after some four hours play.
Øivind Johansen made his season debut against Aleksandar Radojicic
and seemed to struggle with a pawn less in the middlegame. Øivind
managed to counter and won this game and secured an important point
for Sarpsborg. Our team has 5 team points and has good chances to
secure the place. Stjernen and Strømmen are struggling to save the place.
