FM Petter Stigar (2239) won in the opening round of the Lichtenrader Herbst
tournament in Berlin. He will meet Andre Buttkus (2045) in the second round
Sunday. Stigar will have the white pieces in that game.There is a good
chance that the Norwegian FM will win that game too.Tournament
favourite is the German grandmaster Alexander Graf (USV Volksbank Halle).
The second round starts 5 p.m. (17.00) Sunday. The tournament is a nine
rounder with the last round 10 a.m. (10.00) on Sunday 6th of October.
The winner can bring home 1000 Euros (about 8000 norwegian krones).
