Grandmaster Vladimir Kramnik won the first game of the final of the World Cup in Tromsø
yesterday. It was a queens gambit Tartakower. The exworldchampion sacrificed a queen
for rook, bishop and a dangerous past pawn on c6. He won the endgame after converting
to a two rooks vs queen endgame. The second game of four will be played today at 3.p.m.
(15.00). Andreikin has the white pieces and must play for a win. Read a report from yesterday
