Yuri Kryvoruchko is the new Ukrainian champion. The
26-year-old grandmaster edged out Ruslan Ponomariov
on tie-break (Sonnenborn-Berger) after both grandmasters
had finished on 7,5/11.GM Anton Korobov was third with
7 points.The 82nd Ukrainian Championship took place in Kiev
